Following an investigation with assistance from the United States Postal Inspector, the Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office recently charged a Guthrie Center woman with one Class D felony count of Possession with Intent to Deliver Marijuana after it was discovered she had allegedly been receiving marijuana through the mail.
According to the Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office, the investigation was conducted on April 8th, and it was found that 36 year-old January Marlene Stephen had received a total of 25.8 grams of marijuana and other drug paraphernalia items through the mail.
Along with the felony charge brought against her, Stephen was also charged with two misdemeanors–Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
