Funeral Services for Wayne Rice, 69, of Jefferson will be 10:30 am Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at the First United Methodist Church in Jefferson.  Interment will be at Jefferson Cemetery, Jefferson, IA.  Visitation will be after 11:00 am Monday, April 28, 2014 at Slininger-Rossow Funeral Home in Jefferson with the family present to greet friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.   Memorials are suggested to First United Methodist Church in Jefferson or the Webb House and may be left at Slininger-Rossow Funeral Home in Jefferson.

Survivors include his wife Kathy Rice of Jefferson, IA; his son:  Kelly Rice of Jefferson, IA; daughters:  Teresa Heeren of Grimes, IA, Trina Eberle of North Richland Hills, TX, Tanya Betts of Jefferson, IA, and Tami Quam of Boone, IA; sisters:  Barbara Tilley of Jefferson, IA, Glenda Hillhouse of Panora, IA,  Linda Collins of Ankeny, IA, and Beverly Olson of Willner, MN; brother Darwin Rice of Jefferson, IA; sister-in-law:  Sheryl Rice of Jefferson, IA; brothers-in-law:  Larry (Karen) Schilling and Darwin (Bonnie) Schilling both of Wellington, KS; 6 grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
