A deputy was dispatched to the 1700 block of Neola Avenue for the report of a suspicious vehicle parked in a residential driveway. The deputy investigated and subsequently arrested Kenneth Dale Hostetler, 49 of rural Jefferson for Operation of a Motor Vehicle While Intoxicated, 1st Offense.
A deputy was advised and will be investigating the reported theft of a Nikon Camera taken from a vehicle that was parked at Spring Lake Park on April 14th.
A deputy was advised of a cow on the roadway in the 1200 block of 190th Street. The owner was contacted and placed the cattle back into the lot.
A deputy was again advised of more cattle out on 310th Street just east of Brentwood Avenue.
A deputy was asked to speak with a resident in the 1800 block of 150th Street about family safety concerns.
A deputy was dispatched to Grand Junction to remove pornographic material that was posted on a street sign.
A deputy was dispatched to the 2300 block of J Avenue for the report of criminal mischief to an overhead garage door. The deputy determined that the shed door and a camper parked inside were struck by a bullet. The owner was not sure when the damage occurred.
Greene County Secondary Roads personnel advised the Sheriff’s Office of a construction road sign that had blown onto the roadway on 220th Street and J Avenue. The deputy removed the sign from the roadway and asked dispatchers to call the Road Safe Sign Company and inform them of the situation.
A deputy was advised that dispatchers had received an abandoned E-911 call that mapped to the 400 block of 130th Street. It was determined that a youth had initiated the call and everything was okay at the residence.
A deputy spoke with a resident in the 300 block of Howard Street in Rippey about a family civil issue.
A deputy was dispatched to the 500 block of South 12th Street in Grand Junction for the report of a suspicious vehicle. The vehicle was not located upon the deputy’s arrival.
A deputy checked the area around A Avenue and 330th Street for a reported semi-tractor trailer that was experiencing mechanical difficulty on the roadway. The semi was not found upon the deputy’s arrival.
In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
