The Greene County Medical Center Auxiliary recently purchased new items for the hospital.
They bought a new blanket warmer for obstetrics and a bilirubin infant blood testing machine for the New Beginnings Birth Center along with a blood glucose monitoring laptop for the diabetes management department and a new EKG machine for respiratory therapy.
Community Relations Director Carla Offenburger says the Auxiliary continually purchases new hospital equipment through their community fundraising efforts.
In the last fiscal year, Offenburger notes that the Auxiliary raised $21,213 in equipment purchases and their most recent fundraiser brought in over $1,500 from the holiday candy sales in December.
The next Auxiliary fundraiser will be their garage sale next month.
