Perry High School students took advantage of the sunny spring weather recently, as they helped give back to the community.

National Honor Society students, along with their sponsors Eddie Diaz and Amanda Borchers, picked up trash along the Raccoon River Valley Trail.  Within less than a mile, the group was able to gather three large garbage bags full of trash.

Superintendent Lynn Ubben says “it’s great to see our students involved in keeping the community clean”.
