A deputy helped remove a vehicle that had slid into the ditch due to the icy road conditions on Highway 144 near 215th Street. Personnel from the Grand Junction EMS were also dispatched to evaluate the driver. The driver was not injured and her vehicle sustained no damage. No report was needed by the driver.

A deputy checked an unoccupied vehicle at 130th Street and U Avenue. A 24 hour removal sticker was placed on the vehicle.

A deputy was advised of a child custody civil dispute in the 300 block of South 7th Street in Grand Junction. The deputy spoke with one of the parents involved in the dispute.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all  defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
