The Jefferson-Scranton and Greene County School Boards will meet tonight.
During the Jefferson-Scranton work session, the Board will discuss the social studies department at all levels of the education curriculum. That meeting starts at 5:15pm.
Then at 6:30pm will be the Greene County School Board meeting.
The Board will hold a public hearing for the 2014-15 budget and are expected to approve it following the hearing.
The Board will also discuss the student construction house project, a board policy on the tiered diploma system, the special election results from last week and door security systems at the high school and intermediate school.
The Board will consider a 2014 fertilizer contract, banking proposals, the 2014-15 shared media specialist position with Paton-Churdan School District, the Iowa Association for Educational Purchasing Participation Agreement, the KeBecca Educational Services contract and a 2014-15 negotiated agreement with the education association.
Both meetings will be in the conference room of the South Grade Building in Jefferson.
