Greene County Relay for Life is less than three weeks away and they have unveiled a new logo for the participants t-shirts.

Organizer Peg Raney says they’ve designed a brand new logo that is specifically for Greene County Relay for Life.

The new design was created by American Athletic, Incorporated and Spalding’s senior graphic designer John Sigler to correspond with this year’s theme, “Color Out Cancer”.

She talks about how businesses like AAI/Spalding contribute to a great cause like Relay for Life.

“This is unique to Greene County and to have these completely donated and designed by our local company AAI here in Jefferson, that just adds to all of the ways that our Greene County businesses just step up and helps us out for Relay for Life.”

Raney notes that these t-shirts will only go to Relay for Life team members who raise $50 or more for their team.  They will be available starting April 21st as teams turn in their fundraising to People’s Trust and Savings Bank in Jefferson.

The main event is scheduled for Saturday, April 26th from 9:30am-2:30pm at the Greene County Community Center.
