The Dallas County Auditor’s office is looking for volunteers who are willing to help serve as election officials for the upcoming June primary.
In order to be an election worker, you must be registered to vote in Dallas County, be able to work a potentially long day, have good reading, listening and skills, enjoy working with people and be willing to attend trainings.
Officials have several different duties including setting up and tearing down the polling places, checking voter qualification, instructing residents on how to using the voting equipment and reporting results after the polls close.
