The City of Adair is currently under a water boil advisory until further notice following a water main break in town last night.

City Clerk Michelle King tells Raccoon Valley Radio the water main break happened at about 9:20pm Tuesday night along 5th Street, the main roadway passing through Adair.

King says the City hopes to see the boil advisory lifted within the next 48 hours.  She recommends that residents boil water for at least a minute if they plan to use it for cooking or consumption.
