If any area farmers were not able to attend the Guthrie County Extension & Outreach Office’s private pesticide applicator training last month but still need re-certification in 2014, then you’re in luck.

The office will host a last chance pesticide training opportunity for area growers on Monday, April 14th, at 1:30pm.  This session will be held at the Extension office in Guthrie Center and the cost to participate is $20.

Farmers who need to find out their current certification status should call the Iowa Department of Agriculture & Land Stewardship (IDALS) at 515-281-8591 prior to signing up for the course.
