A list of candidates for the June Primary election for certain Greene County offices were released by the County Auditor’s office.
The Supervisors race has only one candidate for each party declared. In District #2, Republican incumbent Dawn Rudolph will be on the ballot along with Democrat candidate Kevin Fitzpatrick Sr. In District #4, Democrat Randy Monthei has declared that he will run and for the Republicans, its’ incumbent Tom Contner seeking another term.
Democrat voters will have to decide on their candidate in the June Primaries for County Treasurer with Phyllis A. Drake and Kristi Holz both running while the only candidate for the Republicans is the current Treasurer Donna Lawson.
As for County Attorney and Recorder, only Republican incumbents Nicola J. Martino and Marcia Tasler turned in their papers in time to run for the primaries in June.
County Auditor Jane Heun says there will be write-in candidates allowed for each political party during the primary election on June 3rd.
The general election for those county department head seats will be in November.
