The Dallas County Hospital Board of Trustees held their monthly meeting recently.

At the meeting, registered nurse Margo Starr was recognized for being selected as one of the 100 Great Iowa Nurses, it was also reported that staff recently participated in Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Trauma Nursing Critical Course and Behavior Response Aggressive and Violence Options trainings and Erica Wegner recently began her duties as the hospital’s Care Coordinator, assisting patients to resources and helping to coordinate necessary services.

The hospital is also accepting DAISY Award nominations for outstanding nurses across the county.  Anyone who knows of a deserving nurse should contact the hospital by tomorrow’s nomination deadline.
