Two Perry women are accused of felony drug charges following a traffic stop yesterday morning.
According to official reports, a Perry police officer made a traffic stop for a vehicle violation on Thursday morning at 5:07am at the intersection of 1st Avenue and Otley in Perry.
Authorities say that upon further investigation, officer Matt Aswegan discovered what appeared to be drugs and drug paraphernalia in the vehicle.
Aswegan subsequently arrested 26 year-old Danielle Renee Fessler who is accused of conspiracy to deliver methamphetamine which is a Class B Felony, a Class C Felony for failure to affix a drug stamp and a simple misdemeanor for possession of drug paraphernalia.
25 year-old Paige Leigh McCarty is accused and charged with a Class B Felony for conspiracy to deliver methamphetamine, a Class D Felony for introduction of contraband and a simple misdemeanor for interference with official acts.
Both were booked and remain in the Dallas County Jail, each on a $100,000 cash-surety bond.
