A special class is being put on by ISU extension in a few weeks that is geared toward benefitting restaurant and food handlers in the local area.

The program is called a Food Safety Certification Short Course, and it aims to provide food safety training to food service managers and restaurant professionals.  The class will be held from 9am to 6pm at the Extension Office in Guthrie Center on Tuesday, March 18th, and there is a cost to participate.  The fee is $100 for members of the Iowa Restaurant Association and $150 for non-members.
