lake panoramaThe Lake Panorama Association has announced a tentative start date for its road embargo on lake streets.

According to LPA officials, the extended forecast shows warmer temperatures coming on the weekend of March 8 & 9, and if that is the case, the road embargo would begin on Monday, March 10th.  If temperatures rise sooner than predicted, however, the LPA says the embargo could begin prior to the 10th.

Lake residents can expect a lengthier road embargo of perhaps three or four weeks this year.  If members need deliveries of propane, septic pumping services, and such things as furniture, appliances and building materials, the LPA advises those deliveries be made as soon as possible.  Deliveries that could exceed the five-ton weight limit are strictly prohibited during the road embargo.

Once the road embargo begins, Panorama students living at the lake will have four bus stop pick-up locations available.

On the west side of the lake, Bus #5 will pick up students at the Panorama West Golf Course at 7:35am and at the Lake Panorama Guard Shack at 7:45.  Bus drop-off times after school will be 3:55pm at the golf course and 4:05 at the guard shack.

Then on the east side of the lake, Bus #30 will pick up students at the LPA Maintenance Shed at 7:40am and at The Port Restaurant at 7:55.  Drop-off times after school will be 3:50pm at The Port and 4 o’clock at the maintenance shed.

The LPA says parents of Panorama students can expect to see a letter from the school district as soon as the road embargo officially goes into effect.
