The Visiting Nurse Services of Iowa will be at the Jefferson Public Library this Friday to help those choose a health care plan.

VNS will have its licensed navigators available to the public for the new health care marketplace and those who need help choosing a health care plan by the March 31st deadline.

It will be from 1-5:30pm at the library with pre-registration highly encouraged by calling 515-288-1516.  Walk-ins are welcomed but aren’t guaranteed an appointment.

Each session may run about an hour but it could go faster is if you know the Social Security numbers, birth dates and any information from an employer that may offer health insurance and those who will need coverage.

Other dates VNS will be at the library are March 14th and 28th.
