Have you ever wanted to plan a town celebration or come up with ideas you feel could make a current event bigger and better than before? The Perry Chamber of Commerce is looking for your help.
Executive Director Bob Wilson says starting with the 4th of July, they’re looking for locals to step up and help plan.
“It’s very common in towns to have a planning committee for your town celebration. It’s something we’ve kind of gone away from, even prior to me becoming the chamber director here so we want your input. We want to know what you want to know what you want to see on the 4th of July, what works, your ideas. We want some volunteers to really step it up. So I’m open to ideas, any input at this point of time is great. We’re already starting to order fireworks and get everything prepared so it’s your time. This is your town celebration, this is your community so let’s make it the best it can be and really show it off” says Wilson.
If you’re interested in helping out or sharing any ideas, Wilson encourages you to stop by the chamber or call 465-4601.
