A familiar opponent will stand in the way of Perry’s first girls state trip in more than a decade tonight when the 11th ranked Jayettes take on number six Carlisle at the Norwalk gym.  Perry is 19-4 on the season after Saturday night’s blowout win over Knoxville.  Carlisle has enjoyed the biggest turnaround in all of high school basketball this year after winning only 1 game last year.  The Jayettes defeated Carlisle twice this year, 57-46 and 45-42.  Carlisle has won 9 in a row after losing to Perry on January 24th.   Claire Marburger has averaged 20 points in the two meetings while Maggie Lowe averaged 14.   Shawn Kenney will have the play by play on AM KDLS tonight starting at 6:40 and online at www.raccoonvalleyradio.com.
