The Adel Partners Chamber of Commerce will continue their Free Friday Entertainment Series this summer.

Even though April may feel like it’s a long time away, perhaps this year’s lineup will give you something to look forward to.

The events take place the third Friday of the Month through August at the Adel Community Stage and Pavilion at 10th and Main Streets.

April’s entertainment is Des Moines Karaoke sponsored by the Adel Kiwanis club. The contest is open to all and there will be two groups, one for kids 17 and under and the other for adults. Winners will win cash prizes in each age group.

In May, Lincoln Savings Bank presents the Abby Normal Rock Band.

Horizon Printing Company is sponsoring Matt Woods and the Thunerbolds, with Rob Lumbard and Night of the Blues in June.

The Adel Lions are bringing the Roulette Rock cover band to town in July and classic rock band Get Off My Lawn will be here August 22nd thanks to People’s Trust and Savings Bank.

All events are free and community members are encouraged to bring their own basket of food and drinks as none will be sold at the event.
