The Iowa high school state wrestling tournament begins today at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines and the stations of the Raccoon Valley Radio Network will have “live” play-by-play coverage of 29 area wrestlers in Class 1A and 2A throughout the duration of the three day event. Class 2A gets the tourney started at 9 a.m. with first round matches followed by first round consolation matches. Class 1A schools take to the mats at 7 p.m. with their first round and first consolation round. In between is wrestling in Class 3A.
