Everyone is invited to the Perry Public Library for a special family program this evening.
Together with the Dallas County Conservation Board, the library will host naturalist Laura Zaugg and the Bird Buddies program.
Attendees will be able to discover which birds can be found in their own backyards and how to identify them by sight and sound.
After hearing from Zaugg, families will be able to go on a bird “hike” in the library using books and binoculars and finish off the evening by making a treat to take home for your local birds.
It starts at 6:30pm at the library. For more information call 465-3569.
