Nominations are still needed for this year’s Perry Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Dinner and Awards Ceremony.
Executive Director Bob Wilson says anyone who has a suggestion for the Spirit of Perry business of the year, volunteer of the year or citizen of the year is encouraged to contact the chamber.
“Now is the time. This is time to take the opportunity to say thank you to the people that give so much to our great community” says Wilson.
In addition to the meal the event includes entertainment from national cartoonist Mike Lynch and a chance to recap the past year.
“We are going to brag a little bit about the great year that we had last year. Obviously a big highlight will be RAGBRAI. We’re going to recognize some of those great hard workers that made it the success that it was, as well as getting together in the same room and networking, socializing, catching up with everybody. It’s a fun time to see where everybody is at after the winter and it’s time to start maybe getting on your bicycle or something like that, getting out there and really enjoying these amenities we have here in Perry” adds Wilson.
It takes place Tuesday, April 8th at the Hotel Pattee. Ticket information will be released at a later date.
