The Jefferson-Scranton School Board will meet tonight.
The Board will consider several agenda items for approval including fundraising events for organizations and clubs. The National Honor Society is wanting to do fundraising for daffodil sales and Ram Restaurant take out day. The Accelerated Government class wants to do fundraising for US soldiers by selling tattoos and help with the Honor Flights for area veterans. The senior class wants to have a hat day and annoying song drive fundraiser.
Other items for the Board’s approval are disposition for obsolete equipment which includes a 1995 Ford F-250 pickup truck with a snow blade and a Monroe V-Box Spreader.
Plus, there will be a discussion on the student construction house, a review of board policies and approving the spring sports track officials.
The meeting takes place at 5:15pm in the South Grade Building in Jefferson.
