State wrestling action begins tomorrow for ADM’s Trevor Harsh, Zach Johnston and Nathan Heath.

Tigers’ head coach Justin Schmauss told us yesterday that controlling their emotions under the bright lights is the biggest key to his guys’ being successful tomorrow, and he now discusses their first-round matchups.

“Trevor has a pretty good match right off the bat and so does Zach.  Then Nathan has the number two-ranked guy, but I mean the number one-ranked heavyweight didn’t even qualify for the state tournament because he didn’t even get out of his district.  So, that shows how much rankings really mean.  You just never know this time of year what can happen and it’s going to be tough either way, but as I’ve said, we’re just going to take it one match at a time and be ready to go no matter who steps in front of us.”
