Coon Rapids-Bayard, ranked number 13 in Class 1A girls’ basketball, was a 52-41 winner in Coon Rapids on Tuesday night over Paton-Churdan in a Region 6 quarterfinal. The Crusaders improved to 18-5 while the Rockets ended their season at 15-8, the best campaign at P-C in well over a decade. CR-B won all three meetings with P-C this season and the Crusaders now play a semifinal at 7 p.m. on Feb. 21 in Colo vs. Colo-Nesco.

Nicole Dentlinger had 15 points and Kelsey Winnett 13 for the Crusaders while Carleigh Paup scored a game high 16 for the Rockets.
