A reminder to Panorama School District parents that the elementary PTO and school librarian Joan Frederickson are hosting a fiesta-themed book fair today and tomorrow, and all monies raised will help purchase new books for the school’s library and individual classroom libraries.

Elementary classrooms are also participating in a coin war this week to coincide with the book fair to raise additional funds.  Frederickson says last year’s combined efforts raised over $1,000.

Panorama is participating in Scholastic’s “All for Books” program as part of its fundraiser.  Every dollar raised this week will be matched by Scholastic to buy books for kids in need through organizations such as Kids in Distressed Situations and Toys for Tots.
