ADMAfter losing six straight games at one point this season, the ADM girls basketball team has now won five of its last seven, and Coach Brett Watson looks to have his team playing its best basketball at the right time.

As Watson has said in recent days, ADM is currently on its “revenge tour,” playing teams down the stretch of this regular season that had previously beaten them earlier in the year.  The Tigers won two games on their tour last week over Perry and Boone, and the third team on this tour is who ADM faces tonight–the Carlisle Wildcats.

Carlisle is 14-6 on the season and dismantled the Tigers back on January 14th, 58-37.  Perhaps the biggest strength for the Wildcats this season has been their offensive balance, as they don’t have one particular player that defenses can key in on to try and stop.

With that in mind, Coach Watson gives his key to a Tigers win tonight.

“We cannot focus on one player.  We’re going to have to play fantastic team defense with all five girls engaged and ready to go.  You can’t just concentrate on one or two players because all five can make you pay, and what’s made them difficult too is that different girls have stepped up in different games.  So we’re going to have to be locked in on the defensive end with all five girls on the same page.”

Coverage of tonight’s varsity doubleheader at Carlisle begins as usual at 5:45 on K107.
