The Greene County girls continue a difficult slate of games to end the basketball regular season when they visit Class 3A ninth rated Nevada tonight in make up action. It’s a JV/varsity twin bill with the varsity game broadcast on KG98 at approximately 7:15 p.m.
The Rams are 9-10 overall and 8-9 in the Heart of Iowa Activities Conference. The Cubs are the league leaders at 16-1 and are 16-4 overall. Nevada won 57-22 in Jefferson on Jan. 31 and the two teams meet for a third time on Feb. 15 in Nevada at 7 p.m. in the opening round of Class 3A regional play. The Cubs blocked 12 shots in the first meeting and held the Rams to a season low point total.
