petsThe Panora P.E.T.S. animal shelter has announced it will be having its first annual “Fur Ball” fundraiser this spring, and they’re hoping to receive support from Guthrie County residents.

The inaugural event is being held on Saturday, April 5th at 5pm in the Lake Panorama National Conference Center, and it will feature dinner, a live and silent auction and live music.

P.E.T.S. volunteer Linda Shelley explains why the shelter has organized this new fundraiser.

“We were in need of a ‘big’ fundraiser.  As you know, we’re run by all volunteers, we don’t get a lot of money in other than donations and fees that we charge for the animals because there is always on-going bills.  So, this ‘Fur Ball’ is just really exciting for us and we all can’t wait for it to happen.”

Tickets for the fundraiser are $25 per person or $175 for a table of eight people.  Pre-registration and payment are required.  Those interested in attending can register and pay for tickets by CLICKING HERE.

Anyone with questions about the inaugural “Fur Ball” can contact the P.E.T.S. shelter at 641-757-9570.
