A deputy spoke with a Scranton resident about a letter that she had received thanking her for a generous contribution to an organization that she had not authorized nor did in fact send. The deputy advised that she check with her bank and monitor her checking account.

A deputy is investigating a reported school bus passing violation that occurred in the 1800 block of 130th Street. The deputy will be talking with the owner of the vehicle about her passing the bus while its amber lights were activated and the stop arm was extended.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all  defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
