The Nevada Cubs visit Greene County’s Rams in the middle school gym in Jefferson tonight for a Heart of Iowa Activities Conference doubleheader. The girls’ game is at 6 p.m. with the boys to follow. Coverage on KG98 begins at 5:45 p.m.

Nevada’s girls are 13-3 overall and 13-1 in the conference and ranked fifth in Class 3A. They lead North Polk (Alleman) by one game in the HOIAC team race. Greene County is 9-7 overall and 8-6 in the conference.

On the boys’ side, the Cubs are 3-11 overall and 3-10 in conference games while the Rams are 5-9 overall and 5-8 in the HOIAC.
