Dallas County Hospital is offering another Pediatric Heartsaver CPR and First Aid class this month.
New or expectant parents, daycare workers and anyone who takes care of children are encouraged to enroll in the course. Upon completion of the class, participants will know how to perform CPR, rescue breathing, remove a foreign body from a child and demonstrate the use of an automated external defibrillator.
The cost of the class is $65 per person for the initial certification and $50 for renewal.
It takes place Saturday, January 18th from 1-5pm in the Dallas County Hospital community room.
