The Perry Crimestoppers are offering rewards for information leading to the arrest of those responsible for a series of crimes in the city.
According to the Perry Police Department, a number of burglaries have been reported since July, with most of them happening over the last three months. Homes, garages and vehicles have all been entered and items such as tools, cash and purses have been stolen. A $500 reward is being offered for anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest of those responsible.
In addition, in the late night hours of November 28th into the 29th, numerous tires were cut on vehicles parked in downtown Perry. The first report came in around 11pm and the damaged vehicles were parked behind the Hotel Pattee, Meinecke Body Shop, the Kickstand Bar and the area near the Otley Cat. More than $1,000 in damages were reported. The Crimestoppers are offering a $300 reward for information in this case.
