The Greene County Historical Society will be hosting its final meeting and event of the year tomorrow.

Member Chuck Offenburger says the monthly program will be at the Greenewood Community Center in Jefferson on Friday at 1pm and will feature the Greene County High School band and vocal students.

During the business meeting, outgoing president Jeane Burke will announce the new officers and board members for 2014.

The mini concert program is free and open to the public to enjoy holiday music with the historical society.
