With more snow inevitably coming over the next few months, the Perry Police Department reminds residents of the City’s snow ordinance.

All vehicles need to be removed from public streets, alleys and city-owned off street parking areas during a snow emergency.

This is defined as any snow or ice accumulation of one-half inch or more.

The snow emergency remains in effect until forty-eight hours after the storm is finished or when all streets and parking lots have been plowed from curb-to-curb.

Those who do not obey the ordinance are subject to fines and vehicles being towed at the owner’s expense.
