With the holiday season approaching, the Greene County Chamber and Development would like to help with your early holiday shopping with the annual Browse Day Weekend.

Starting today through Saturday, everyone is invited to any of the twenty participating retailers in Jefferson and pick up a coupon to help lighten the cost of decorations and gifts this holiday season.  Plus, committee chair Steve Schwaller adds, the coupons are valid from November 7th through December 24th.

He explains the importance of offering something like this to the public.

“Christmas is a very important part for all retailers and this is just one way to encourage people to take advantage of their local, hometown shopping.”

Plus, during Browse Weekend, you can enter your name in the drawing for Chamber Christmas Certificates in the amount of $50.  There will be a total of nine $50 certificates given away on December 2nd, 9th and the 16th.
