isu-extensionFor any local female farmers who sometimes struggle bringing their cattle to market, the Guthrie County Extension Office has a recommendation for a class coming up in November that might help you overcome those challenges.

“Women Managing Cattle” gives farm women a chance to interact with others who face similar challenges and obstacles in the agriculture industry.  The class will feature three sessions geared to providing education and support materials about costs of production, marketing alternatives, pasture management and pasture watering options.

The class will meet from 6 to 9pm at the Coon Rapids Public Library on November 12th, 19th and 26th.  Cost for participation is $50.
