ADMADM continues to play its best volleyball of the year down the season’s final stretch, as the Tigers went 4-1 on Saturday en route to winning the Knoxville Invitational.

The Tigers won their first three matches easily Saturday in pool play, knocking of Iowa Falls, Perry and Grinnell two games to nil each match.  The Tigers fell to Pella Christian 2-1 in the final match of pool play, but ADM rebounded to knock off that same Pella Christian team in the championship match two games to none.

It was a competitive final match, with the Tigers winning game one 26-24 and game two 25-13.

Senior outside hitter Torrie Hook led ADM in the kills department for the tournament, finishing with 41 in the Tigers’ five matches.

Hook and the rest of the Tigers’ seniors will play in the final regular season home match of their careers tomorrow night on Senior Night against Carroll.  It will also be ADM’s final match before postseason play begins.

Tomorrow’s contest is slated to start at 7pm.
