The Perry boys cross country team placed second last night at the Saydel Invitational losing to North Polk by 2 points.  The second ranked Comets finished with 61 while Perry followed with 63.  Perry’s Atem Akok won the event in a time of  16:50.  Keegan Fau was 6th in 17:51, Oscar Chavez 13th in 18:48, Christian Morales 20th in 19:11 and Cole Chance 24th in 19:!4.  Richie Chavez clocked in at 19:55 and Zach Roberts closed at 19:56.  Perry will travel to Winterset next Thursday for the State Qualifying Meet.
