The 11th annual Greene County Medical Center Auxiliary’s Table Talk event is tomorrow.

Last year’s event brought in over $4,957 for the Auxiliary and that money went back to the hospital.  Along with this month’s fundraising, president Judi Jacobsen says they also have quilt raffles, holiday candy and spring garage sales and a holiday of lights tree and a wreath silent auction.

Jacobsen states that the Auxiliary gave $21,213 to the hospital last year to purchase a stretcher bed, two crash carts and new flooring for the emergency room department.

She explains that they have 156 members and during their 2013 fiscal year, those volunteers donated 11,845 hours to various events and have also helped with blood drives, the Long Term Care unit, and assisted with public foot and seasonal flu clinics.

The Table Talk event will be at the Greene County fairgrounds on Saturday with the public to view the pre-purchased tables at 11am and a program for participants at 12:15pm.
