The Greene County Auditor’s office wanted to remind all county voters that absentee ballots are now available for the upcoming city council and mayoral election on Tuesday, November 5th.

County Auditor Jane Heun reminds anyone that if you want to vote by absentee ballot through the mail, you must first fill out a request for an absentee ballot with her office and then an official absentee ballot will be mailed to you.

Otherwise, you can stop into the auditor’s office inside the county courthouse during normal business hours from now until election day on Tuesday, November 5th and fill out an absentee ballot.

Heun notes that all absentee ballots for the November election must be postmarked by Monday, November 4th.

Polls will be open from noon-8pm on Tuesday, November 5th.
