Paton-Churdan is getting into the habit of playing five sets in Rolling Valley volleyball and the Rockets did it again on Thursday night in Churdan. Boyer Valley (Dunlap) went home with a win in five over P-C by scores of 25-21, 25-19, 20-25, 18-25, 15-8, to improve to 5-2 in the conference and 12-6 overall. The Rockets fell to 3-3 in the league and 5-7 overall. This was the fourth five-game set of the season for P-C and their third straight.
BV led throughout in the first set, but there were nine lead changes in set two. P-C trailed 7-14 in set three, but rallied for the win. Set four started with Kailee Hanlon serving and P-C jumped out to a 9-0 lead. After set five was tied 4-4, BV took control to win the set and match.
