The intense storm that swept across Iowa yesterday did more than just cost people power in their homes.

It also prevented ADM from playing its first home conference match of the season on the volleyball court.

The Tigers match last night against Dallas Center-Grimes was postponed due to a lack of power in the school’s gymnasium.

Coach Mary Beth Scott says she hopes the match is played at some point, but a reschedule date has not yet been determined.

ADM’s varsity team will next play on Tuesday at home against Ballard High School.

The freshman volleyball team will be in action this weekend, however, as it travels to Des Moines for a tournament at Des Moines East.
