Now that it’s beginning to feel more like fall, the Cyclists of Greene will be hosting one of its last two full moon bike rides of the year this Saturday.

Because the calendar is getting into the autumn season, the group will gather at the Jefferson Depot by the Raccoon River Valley Trailhead at 6:30pm.  It is the normal eight mile bike ride during the twilight hours to Cooper then back to Jefferson under the full moon.

Organizer Chuck Offenburger says they encourage anyone to join them and helmets with bike lights are essential for the ride.  Plus, there will be refreshments after the group gets back to the Depot.
