The Perry football team sits 1-2 after three weeks and will get ready for their longest road trip of the season Friday night when they travel to Glenwood to battle the Rams. The Perry offense managed to score just 14 points against Harlan last week but showed the ability to move the football throughout the course of the game. Head Coach Jason Olenjzack says the offense has been put in but there is a lot that still needs to be improved. “I would say we have shown only 70-75 percent of our plays. We put the entire offense in, but we haven’t showed everything yet. It really is a week to week basis, and game situations. In our comeback against Boone, a certain two or three plays were working so we stuck with it. Some times plays don’t work and they don’t get showed again. It all depends on the situation.”
You can listen to Perry and Glenwood tomorrow night at 7:30 on KDLS.
