The Jefferson-Scranton School Board of Directors will meet tonight.

Tonight’s meeting will include the Oath of Office of new board members and the election of the Board President and Vice-President for the 2013-14 school year.  Following the Oath of Office for the new president and vice-president will be committee and Iowa Association of School Boards appointments and establishing the meeting calendar for the school year.

There will also be an allowable signers on bank accounts and an allowable growth request for special education deficit.  A 2012-13 certified annual report and transportation report along with school improvement advisory committee goals will be shared.

Other agenda items include discussion on a shared fourth grade teacher, 2013-14 Title I applications, an administration transfer of the State of Iowa Energy Loan and board policy reviews.

The meeting takes place at 5:15pm tonight in the South Grade Building in Jefferson and the public is welcomed to attend.
