The Jefferson Parks and Recreation Department would like to invite any 6-15 year olds to Kelso Park on Tuesday, September 17th for the NFL Punt, Pass and Kick event.

JPRD Director Vicky Lautner says there will be five age groups with both a boy and girl division.  She comments that they will award ribbons for first through third place, but only the winners for each age group will advance to a sectional competition later this fall.

Lautner points out that the event will follow the first through third grade flag football games.  She explains why they are having the punt, pass and kick event after the flag football games.

“Check in time is 6:30pm and we’ll start that immediately after the flag football game.  We did that for a purpose so we would have kids out there that could participate in this punt, pass and kick and that’s a free program.”
