Local residents, business owners and community leaders are invited to share their thoughts about opportunities and challenges in rural Iowa tomorrow.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s state rural development director is hosting a round table discussion in Perry tomorrow afternoon.

In the last few years, the USDA’s Rural Development division has invested more than $2.5 billion on essential public facilities, small and emerging businesses, water and sewer systems and housing opportunities.

The event takes place in the second floor meeting room of the Town Craft building tomorrow at 1pm. Anyone with questions can call Darin 284-4747.
