The Stuart Chamber of Commerce meets tomorrow at noon for its September meeting.
Vice President Sarah Gomez says nothing major is on the slate for the months ahead, but the Chamber is hoping to set up lunch-and-learn training sessions for its members in order to further advance its economic development mantra.
The Chamber got involved with first day of school activities at West Central Valley High School a couple weeks ago, as area businesses collaborated to make a big breakfast for teachers prior to school starting.
Gomez says the next planned event on the docket is to work with the Lion’s Club in order to bring back “Light the Park” at Christmas time. In years past the Chamber has worked to set up a lights display in Lawbaugh Park during the holiday season.
Tomorrow’s meeting takes place at Foxy’s Den restaurant, and the public is welcome to attend.
